I really enjoyed the conference. It's the first time I've watched discussions online then *wanted* to watch them all over again. I especially liked Adam Wathan & Matt Stauffer. Rachel Andrew's talk on FlexBox just blew me away and Evan You seems like some kind of genius. Actually all the talks were very imformative and I liked the way they weren't solely focussed on Laravel itself but technologies that are tangential to a regular laravel deployment. The conference was really well run and the live streaming worked really well (although sometimes it felt like we were eavesdropping on a private conversation between you and the speakers!). The videos are great and it would be good to be able to share them with non-attendees (I know some non-laravel types that would really benefit from watching Nick's email video) - even if there was, say a $10 fee for accessing each video. One other thing - I don't know how viable this is but in the real world when you attend a conference you are there all day and totally focussed. Attending a conference online (from home & in a different timezone) you are beset by distractions. I think it would be helpful to have the option of bigger breaks between talks, so that we can nip out and make lunch, put the kids to bed etc without missing what is a wonderful community experience. Anyway, the conference was a smashing success as far as I'm concerned and I will be at the next one.

Affordable price and incredible value delivered :-) Especially the talk by Taylor and Matt was really creating a lot of value because it was a thorough explanation of central components of the framework. For next year I would personally enjoy more talks about package development and contributing to the laravel framework. Best practices and do´s & dont´s

It was amazing to have a conference accessible online, including chat rooms with access to all kinds of other developers. I've never been able to attend Laracon before (time/money constraints) and this meant I didn't have to miss out. I loved it.

This was fantastic, I loved being able to participate from here, not having to travel and hit up my company to pay for it. The slack group was great and if you had questions during a talk someone else was always there to offer an answer or an opinion. It was fun to banter around with people and share ideas. Definitely will attend again and I've already told all my friends and colleagues. Thanks for putting this on !

Great information from great speakers. The only thing that stops me from giving a 10 is just the sheer speed of the whole thing. I had a very hard time taking good notes, following the examples, and also keeping up in Slack. Some speakers finished early...so I felt that perhaps taking things a notch slower would have been nice :)

The price value ratio. We experienced three kinds of sessions: 1) new pro stuff we like to use in the future 2) nice explanations for stuff we already knew 3) inner workings of tools we use, but don't really want to know the inner workings of (Vue/Postmark) I'm not aware what the target audience exactly would like, here's my wishlist ;) I loved the pro stuff and didn't bother the known stuff because there where a few minor suggestions in those talks. Mainly because it's nice to serve newbies and pro's in this event. But the Vue and Postmark talks could have been cooler if they would talk more about possible implementations and less on their inner workings. The guys who're interested in inner workings are on stage and only a few are in the audience (I guess)

It's been a really cool experience! Technically all worked brilliantly. The talks were great, while some at the beginning were front-end oriented, even for a pure back-end developer they really were interesting too. The timing allowed me to follow Laracon from Paris France, even though I had to watch one talk while commuting. Thanks!

Great start for a first time event. I can't attend a lot of the great conferences due to the them being in other countries and their prices. This is a great way for developers from other countries to get up close with great devs and also enjoy the great slack channels :P Would definitely recommend. P.S Zoom.us was a perfect fit too. Did not have any issues at all with the live streaming.

So much I could put here! For being the first time this was put on, it was incredibly well planned and professional. The Zoom software worked great, the Slack (while overwhelming) was fun to chat in, and most importantly, the talks were great. Suggestions for next year: Have a more structured way of submitting questions, I feel they got lost in the Slack channel. This will help viewers parse the q&a, as well as the presenter trying to answer. Thanks for putting all of this together, it was a huge success!

Since I live in Portugal I cannot attend other laravel conferences. By having this online I can still enjoy the conference feel and dedicate time to this event. I took a day off work to stay at home and watch the conference. May I suggest that you get a co-host next year? Having two people hosting avoids the awkwardness of Ian being alone dealing with things and management. With two people one could be entertaining the audience, and the other dealing with issues. I really loved it. I'll be here next year.

"Most important reason": It's an insane deal for the price. I would recommend it to anyone with half a brain. I'm currently unemployed, and from a country that's not doing so well, but I wasn't left out, and that's awesome. I have feedback though. Maybe it was me, but the talks were hard to follow with the chats. For example, I was reading Jason's answers in the channel and I could not pay attention to Matt's talk. Not a big deal because we'll have the videos, but the schedule was a bit compressed in time. It was a bit tiresome at the end, too. But, I had a ton of fun, I learned things, I got the opportunity to chat with some of my idols, and I felt like a VIP all the time. Here's to next year!

Solid topic choices. Solid presenters and presentations. Solid tech stack: Zoom and Slack. Solid moderation. Solid schedule - stuck to it without it feeling rushed, and no wasted time. Solid useful swag. Suggestions: - nail down talk titles along with presenter names and times. ... even if the talk titles need to be updated periodically. There were a lot of repeat questions about that. .... Actually, the "title" doesn't matter: it's the theme/emphasis of the content that people are most interested in, so they can plan viewing times around it if they have to take time off work to watch. - I dunno how to have told everyone it was all recorded and will be available soon, any better than you already did! But it came up all the time. Maybe people just don't read? Maybe follow up with a link to the Slack Archive, or put it on the swag page?

1. I have vision, hearing impairment and social anxiety. This format for Laracon beats in-person for me HANDS DOWN. NYC does not heart me, and I skippped Laracon this year because of that. 2. My only suggestion would be to maybe make a Western/Eastern Hemisphere conference presentation over 2 days. Getting up at 5am wasn't great, but being up past 2am in other places I am sure was rough. 3. Everyone who spoke gave a killer (KILLER!!) talk. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BRINGING LARACON CONVENIENTLY TO ME!

It's a huge grouping of extremely intelligent people discussing awesome topics, and it doesn't require anyone to get plane tickets or hotels or take multiple days off of work (when the company isn't willing to pay for it) to get the benefits. I didn't get to watch all of it live, but I'm definitely stoked to watch the videos when they're out!

Great value, very interesting talks. The only feedback to improve it would be to have the speakers a little more present in slack, and not simply answering a few questions in their respective question channels. Taylor and Jason seemed to be the only ones to really do it.

Too much protein :-) No really great ... was hoping to connect with local Laravelites to continue conversation / learnings. Great job all around ... I will need to check out the videos to be able to pause and reflect .. and rewind.
